Church begins with the individual’s humble decision to be instructed by the teachings of Jesus and making an effort to follow his ways: becoming loving, forgiving, gentle yet wise remaining hopeful of his care. The individual does this by rejecting the appearance that the power to do good things arises in and of of self; acknowledging that all good is from the Lord. The church is a community of people who support each other discovering truths that lead them to ever closer relationship with the Lord by committing to a life of service to each other and the greater community.
